Meet Your Professional

Please welcome Jan Berry as the District Director for our new district.

Greetings to the Scouts, Scouters and Families of Darby Creek District!
 
It is an extreme priviledge and honor to be the first professional assigned to the new District A and I am looking forward to working with everyone to spread the good news about Scouting and celebrate our 100th anniversary! On July 1st, several of you talked to me about your hopes and desires about this new district and at this point, I do not know which of us is more excited. The Dublin, Madison County and Union County areas are blessed with a rich history of Scouting and talented, dedicated volunteers.  With all the experience you all have, District A will be a dynamic district very soon.
 
Several Scouters have been planning and/or are meeting within the next week to plan the Program kick-off, School Night Round-up, Popcorn Program, Fall Camporee and more!  To those Scouters, thank you so much for stepping up.  You are all the BEST!

The new Darby Creek District consists of all units located within the following public school districts:

Darby Creek Events
District Committee Meeting
Start Date/Time:Thursday, February 25, 2010 7:00 PM
Recurring Event:Recurring Event On the Fourth Thursday of the month until 7/22/2010 (Total 12 Events)

Description:

The district committee meeting is where the District Chair, Commissioner and District Director work with the district leadership on membership, finance, unit service (commissioning) and program (training, activities, civic service and advancement).

St. Joseph's Parish Activity Center
670 West Main Street
Plain City, OH  43064

The Parish Activity Center is located behind the fire station and is just west of the intersection of 42 &  161.   We will be meeting in the "Holy Family" room which is the first room on the left as you enter.

Please note that we are scheduled from 7pm to 8:30pm and it is ok if we need to go a little longer.   There are other groups using the facility at the same time so we need to keep our activities to our room.

Please do not schedule any sub-committee meetings prior to 7pm as the facilities may be occupied by other groups.
