In Webelos Scouting there are 20 activity badges, metal pins worn on the Webelos cap, or as a pack option, on the tabs of the Webelos colors. The activity badges are divided into four groups - Physical Skills, Mental Skills, Community, Technology, and Outdoor. In order to earn the Webelos badge (the fifth rank in Cub Scouting), the Webelos Scout must earn the Citizen and Fitness badge. He must also earn one other activity badge from another group.
To earn the Arrow of Light Award, a Scout must earn Readyman, Outdoorsman, at least one from the Mental Skills group, at least one from the Technology group, and one more of his choice.
